South Africa Rainbow Route is a fantastic journey starting in the financial capital of South Africa, Johannesburg. Heading north east along the panorama route stopping at the Blyde River Canyon - southerly evidence of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, East Africa. A few more stops including Gods Window for a stupendous view from the edge of the escarpment over the lowveld. The first night is spent at a lodge on the edge of this escarpment!
The next morning you have a short drive to the world renowned Kruger National Park to look for Africa's Big 5 as well as a plethora of other wildlife. After 2 nights in Kruger you head to Swaziland and the journey continues along the east coast spending enough time at South Africa's major attractions.
